announces today that its weekly program, Preview!, will feature an interview with
flutist Mimi Stillman. The interview will air during the station's Sunday, January
13 program that airs from 6-9 p.m.

During the program, WCPE's Larry Kirwan and Stillman will discuss her passion for
teaching the art of music, her first CD release, as well as her upcoming performance
with The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle on Sunday, January 20. The concert will
begin at 3 p.m. at the Carolina Theatre of Durham.

"Mimi Stillman has accomplished an astounding amount for a performer of her age,"
says Kirwan. "Her talent is only exceeded by her passion for teaching, especially of
young flutists. We\'re looking forward to her return visit to Durham."

A Boston native, Stillman has gained international acclaim for her performances as
soloist and chamber musician at venues throughout the United States, Europe and
Mexico. She has won the Astral Artistic Services competition, and was the youngest
wind player to win the Young Concert Artists International Auditions. In addition,
Stillman has taught master classes and presented lecture recitals at The National
Flute Association, New England Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, Flute Society
of Washington, D.C. and the St. Louis Flute Society.

Preview! is a weekly feature that airs every Sunday evening from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. ET
and presents the latest in classical recordings and upcoming classical events.

About Mimi Stillman:
One of the most highly regarded flutists in the concert world today, Mimi Stillman
is internationally acclaimed for performances as soloist and chamber musician at
major concert halls and festivals throughout the United States, Europe, and Mexico.
At 12, Ms. Stillman was the youngest wind player ever admitted to the Curtis
Institute of Music, where she studied with Julius Baker and Jeffrey Khaner and
earned her Bachelor of Music in 1999. She earned a Master of Arts degree in history
